Wild Bear Falls Water Park - Gatlinburg, Tennessee

A small but decent indoor waterpark at The Westgate Gatlinburg Resort. There are only two moderately thrilled water slides but only one was opened on the day we went. The stairs to go up the watersides were extremely uncomfortable. They have a lazy river and an outdoor hot tub and pool which was nice. The indoor pool/basketball area is a good size but the flooring is very rocky and all my kids had blisters or cuts from walking on it. Overall, it wasn’t crowded when we went in August (might be more crowded during the winter season) but they need some updates and repairs.

It’s a small waterpark, but great for the kids. Has a kiddy section, large hot tub, water slides and lazy river. It has showers in the locker rooms and provides towels. Food court has reasonable prices except for the soft drinks. $5 a cup and $1 for every refill. They should have free refills for the $5 a cup. Overall, not a bad place to just cool down and get wet. It’s an indoor water park, so rain or shine, you could have something to do with the kiddos.

Good place to relax or have fun if you're staying at the resort. There are separate play areas for kids and adults of varying ages. Indoor and outdoor lounge spots, clearly marked depths, heated pools with accessible lift seats available. Is it worth the ticket price with all the other attractions in the area available? I don't think so. But if you've already paid for it as a part of your room, it's a good place to keep the kids entertained on bad weather days.

One of the best perks of staying at Westgate is this indoor water park. It stays warm year round, has a lazy river, two water slides, a few hot tubs (one with a section outdoors), and a few areas for kids. It can get busy and there aren’t a ton of seats on the first floor, but lots of tables & seats upstairs. There is a cafe with snacks, pizza, burgers, and drinks. Locker rooms with showers are available, and lockers can be rented.

We spent a whole day here. The kids loved everything, including the water slides. We adults liked the water slides, too. There is a restaurant on site that offers canned adult beverages. This is a great place, especially for bad weather days.

The water park in general is nice, geared more towards a younger crowd. One of the two slides were out of order.

The cabanas that were for rent were sort of a joke. The place was empty and had plenty of seating everywhere.

The water was on the colder side, so hot tub was nice.

The lazy river was our favorite until it started getting crowded mid day.

The admission price is not worth it ($28.95+ tax) per person. There is better options out there that offer more bang for your buck.

We will probably just use the free pools on site if we stay on property in future.

It has potential, so maybe if they add more attractions with future growth we will visit again.

This is an absolutely wonderful indoor waterpark at Westgate Resort. All of the pools are kept at wonderful temperatures, and there are a few hot tubs, including a hottub that is both inside and outside. The outside area is so peaceful. There are 2 large slides, one uses a tude, one does not amd they are pretty thrilling. There are 2 kids areas as well, one for really little and one for just younger or any age, really. Cabannas can be rented. The restrooms are equipped with showers.
