Absolutely AMAZING! I’ve been meaning to write this for a while now. My wife and I stayed here a few months ago and had the BEST time! Such a unique and memorable experience. We felt like kids again exploring the hidden rooms and admiring all the treasures and stories each room had to tell. We originally booked the Elvis room but upon arrival we were met by a wonderful employee(I believe her name may have been Olivia), who gave us a tour of the room and the Versailles Suite across the street and offered either one. We chose the Versailles Suite which was a phenomenal room and very romantic. The next day we saw that they were redoing the Elvis room which is why I think we were offered the upgrade which was absolutely amazing of them to do. We briefly met the woman who owns it the next day as she told us about a cool upgrade they were doing to one of the rooms. Her and every single staff member there were so friendly and they all provided exceptional customer service. If you ever visit DC this has to be on your list of places to visit. I strongly encourage you to stay overnight so you can explore the mansion at night but even if you can’t stay you have to at least visit for the tour. I promise you will be in for an unforgettable experience! We visit DC at least once a year for theatre at the Kennedy Center and the mansion is now going to be a part of our annual tradition. We cannot wait until our next visit there! Thank you so much to the wonderful people at the Mansion on O Street for such a beautiful, unique, and fantastic experience!

This is such a unique experience. It was amazing being able to explore all the rooms and try and find all of the hidden doors and secret passages. We spent two hours roaming around and are talking about when we can go back to see if we get lucky enough to find additional rooms. Great place, very nice staff, and very well maintained given all of the items in the museum!!

Went to the mansion for they're hidden room experience and it was extremely cool. Very nice staff and a lot of fun for a day activity. They have so many cool things littering the house you almost forget to be on the lookout for the hidden doors. Definitely worth a trip down to O street.

This place was SO much fun. It was easy to get to from the metro and a short walk. My husband and I, our 7 year old, and her godparents visited together on Monday and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The doors weren’t too terribly hard to find, but the crowds that were also doing the secret door experience made them difficult to get to. The amount of people crammed into such a small space was my only complaint, so we made quick use of the elevator to get to less crowded floors to make the best of it. There were a couple of rooms we found that were so beautiful and well decorated. A lot of the things in the rooms are for sale as well. Overall, it seemed very clean and well kept! Definitely a hidden gem in DC!

I did the hidden doors tour and it was so much fun! Really fun to find all the doors although it's a lot of walking up and downstairs so be mindful of that. I would probably not stay a night here as it's quite expensive and I feel it would be a bit of a sensory. Multiple rooms had voice recordings and tvs going at the same time. Which I'm sure they would turn off if you were staying there but I'd guess you'd still be able to hear the other rooms.

A Hidden Gem Full of Wonder and Mystery!

Visiting the O Museum in the Mansion was like stepping into a treasure trove of history, art, and intrigue. Every room tells a story, and the attention to detail is astounding. The secret doors and hidden passageways added an element of fun and discovery that made the experience unforgettable. The eclectic collection of artifacts, from musical memorabilia to unique artwork, kept me captivated at every turn. The staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the tour both educational and entertaining. If you’re in D.C. and looking for something truly unique, the O Museum is an absolute must-see!
