We enjoyed our exhibit "Call It Street Art, Call It Fine Art, Call It What You Know". The folks working the exhibit were really nice. We also purchased the T shirt that listed all the artists. Looking forward for more exhibits!

It's free to visit and they have some interesting pieces.
The scrap metal sculptures were my favorite thing. It's always cool to see how creatively people reuse materials, like using knives for feathers.

!! Read an article about this museum closing. Might want to verify if they are still open before going. !!

Great small museum. Worth a visit for sure. I got the feeling it was one exhibit at a time. Not far from the Blaffer Art Museum on the U of H campus so they are easy to see together.

Their exhibitions are my favorite in Houston. Get to see Parallel Kingdom before it closes October 2.

Amazing curation of a great display of art. Joshua was kind enough to answer any questions we asked and shared a great amount of knowledge. I recommend taking a look at the books by the front door as well! They have many beautiful picture books to enjoy

I've only been here twice, but really valued it both times and am now on their mailing list so should get there more often. There's just one large space - sometimes partitioned up, other times not - so there's just one exhibition at a time. The things they put on are thoughtful, provocative, interesting. Sometimes unsettling, as with the exhibition we saw today on Torture. Free admission, some parking out the front; the people working there are helpful and friendly and will answer any questions you have. Worth a look 🙂

It is small enough to digest all of the displays which I appreciate. We spent about an hour there which includes some pondering. If you aren't going to bring your consciousness with you, it's gonna be a short and disappointing ride. We meditated, so to speak, on some of the pieces and we felt changed upon leaving. Some pieces had heavy weight dealing with social issues, others doused with humor, and others just artistic comical non-sense. There was a great balance. We loved it!
