This park is awesome! I wish we had more time but my nieces had a flight to catch. There is so much to look at and it does inspire you and make you just think of how much time, effort, and creativity has gone into creating all of it. We noticed some spots are planned out to add more stuff too! If we come back we will spend more time and do the scavenger hunt to find all the objects hidden in the mosaic art! I'm going to go add mosaic tiles to everything in my house now. ?

It's a really unusual artistic small park.
many mosaic elements made of glass, porcelain, ceramic, kitchen tiles, plates, glasses, and almost everything you can think of.
It is clean and well maintained.

Some of the art work is damaged due to weather. A chill plan when the weather is good.
Easy parking along the street opposite residential area.
No restroom. Dog friendly

Walking through Smither Park feels like exploring an open-air gallery where every inch tells a story. The highlight for many visitors is the Memory Wall, which stretches along one side of the park and is filled with deeply personal and often playful mosaics created by local artists. Each section of the wall represents a unique theme, adding layers of meaning and memory that make the park more than just a visual experience.

One of the most talked-about areas is the Lindley Fish Amphitheater, where mosaics depict underwater scenes filled with fantastical creatures and bright colors. This amphitheater hosts events and performances, making it both an art installation and a community gathering spot. There’s also a mosaic-covered swingset and a whimsical dragon slide, making it a fun destination for families and children.

This park shows the creativity amongst houston artists. Small not big but definitely a place to visit. I also liked that there were qr codes around park to show the artist.

Good little park with interesting installations and sculptures. Amazing photo place! There are a few tables with benches. No restrooms. Street parking.
