Amazing museum, with friendly and helpful staff. Many beautiful items are curated there. The museum is not that well known, and very few people go there. It is newly remodeled, and nicely air conditioned on a hot day. It has a ground floor and two basements, accessible via escalators as well as elevators. Restrooms are also clean, though it would be good to have paper towels or hand dryers in there.

They advise guests to start the tour by themselves. When there are enough guests, the tour guide will come out and call the guests to join the guided tour if interested. I highly recommend joining the guided tour, as there are a few things which I would have missed without them pointing it out.

During certain times, there is a free shuttle bus from President's House to the museum and it is worthwhile to take that shuttle to avoid the walk and to find the museum easily.

Amazing collection and quite nicely done up building. Ofcourse the entire estate is an oasis of peace, greenery and quiet. The museum can still do far far better with proper placement of artefacts and proper categorisation. There is a lot of stuff there that is not arranged in a logical sequence... The other half of the museum that s based in old horse stables also needs proper categorisation and display. Lot of gifts or memorabilia is associated with recent presidents.. one would like to see stuff from the first president onwards .

I had the thrilling experience of exploring the interior of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Tickets are usually available online through their website during the month of September, priced at Rs. 50 per person. A knowledgeable guide escorted us through the Bhavan, showcasing all its magnificent parts.
