Such a great place to visit in Notre Dame to appreciate art from different parts of the world. Great option for a solo date. Also, the ladies in the entrance were absolutely amazing and kind. 100 thousand percent would recommend.

If there’s one thing ND understands - it’s their branding and who they are. Beautiful building housing religious works as main with galleries of indigenous, South American and African American along with a modern take chapel. There’s a pencil sketch of Rembrandt of the Virgin and bulbous nose Child where you can clearly see a male face underfoot. Another painting has a crow with blood worm hovering and glaring at St John. Delightful. Squeeze in visit while on campus. Entrance at front so walk around. When landscaping is done and mature on the completed sculpture walk that will also be very regenerative and peaceful. The gallery attendant roamed and met us in different collections so maybe you will also get the personal shadow experience as well.

WOW, relatively small place, but packs a punch. Lots of displays & areas.

Sculpture garden outside is also a great draw

Gorgeous space and artwork. Completely free as well as free coat check and lockers. The day we went they had a special performance ballet dancer in the center. It felt like I was back in Italy in the European section. Will go back!

Really nice art museum with a wide variety of styles and eras. We stopped in on a rainy day and were surprised to see it was free to get in! The special exhibit was a fantastic photography collection from a priest that covered 1910s to the 1950s - he even had some shots from an early Titanic journey. All in all, I was super impressed with this museum and the space, great spot especially on a rainy day.

I am a teacher in the area, and the Raclin Murphy staff did an outstanding job with our kiddos! We brought our 8th graders, and they were engaged throughout the museums. The docents were informative, patient with questions, and great with the kids.

They were organized within the tour and even had chairs and notebooks for the students! They gave the kids a chance to sketch their own drawings, write down questions and their wonderings.

I’m so thankful for this team showing our kids around and giving them a great experience!

Simply beautiful new art museum. What a wonderful addition to the university and the community. Building, finishes, and displays are all so well thought out. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
