We didn’t expect to stop here. It was just on our way to the Naval Aviation Museum so we pulled in. This is a great stop and wonderful property. We climbed all 177 curved stairs to the top and visited the museum.

We stopped to see it and get our passport stamp! The area is beautiful, lots of butterflies are around and it was very clean. We didn't go up the lighthouse on this trip as time was limited, but we will be back.
The giftshop is affordable and great for souvenirs

Loved our visit! Amazing naval history. Haunted history. Spectacular views! Get tickets! Especially for the Blue Angeles & Haunted tours. Highly recommend!

Heads up- no flip flops, you will have to carry them up! I’d say it’s worth the money if you plan to go up the lighthouse but just to walk around the grounds and museum, would be a little more than I would want to pay. Wow the view!!! Worth the climb and such an incredible view from the top! They say 7+ to climb and I can understand that, I would want to really trust my kid to be up at the top, the bars are great but would totally be precarious with tiny people! Just in case you were thinking about it! Stick to the rules and just wave at them from the top ?

Great views from the top! It’s 177 steps up to the top but even in August weather it wasn’t too hot or exhausting to climb up. The staff working there are very very nice! It’s also located on the naval air station which is cool to check out if you have extra time

Was a lil pricey in my opinion considering you may or may not even make it the 177 steps to the top of the lighthouse. And annoying that every purchase they ask you if you want to round up the cost of your purchase for their foundation when they’re already charging more than enuf to even enter. It was still interesting and the museum was very informative and cool.

Absolutely beautiful! It is on the naval base, so you can visit the naval museum at the same time! You can climb the 177 stairs to the top...but there was no way we were doing it in the heat. Maybe on another visit when it isn't a feel like temperature of 102°!
