After living in farmers branch for several years, my mother and I finally made our visit to Farmers Branch Historical Park and boy was it truly delightful, thanks in large part to our awesome and knowledgeable tour guide, Cynthia. Her passion for history and dedication to sharing it with visitors made the experience memorable. Cynthia's insightful commentary brought each exhibit to life, from the unique and beautifully preserved buildings to the fascinating artifacts. Her friendly demeanor and engaging storytelling kept us captivated throughout the entire tour. The park itself is a hidden gem, meticulously curated to showcase the rich history of the area. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply curious about the past, a visit to Farmers Branch Historical Park, guided by Cynthia, is an absolute must.

This made for a great day trip with the kids!

Dipping into the historical Farmers branch, and seeing houses from over 150 years ago, was a real treat for the kids.

While the houses were all closed, a peek in the window still gave a lil.

Definitely had a great time, next time we'd probably couple it with a picnic- there are tables, restrooms, big field and water

My niece's wedding was held in the old church. The old town feel was nice and very authentic. The old buildings were decorated inside for the reception as well. Maybe needs more a/c, as the wedding was in July, and it was extremely hot in the buildings

We are always so excited to attend the fall festival every year. We and our kids look forward to seeing all the new attractions/ costumes and trying the food. This year was disappointing due to a private vendor renting out the space. It was not much excitement nor food. Besides us we only saw 2-3 other families.

A must-see historical park that is like nothing I have ever seen before. It is like stepping back in time as you are transplanted into the 1900's. The grounds are beautifully maintained. You have to pre-schedule a private tour to see the inside of each building. Plan on spending a while there since there is so much to see. Benches are available to rest and there is a checkers game set-up at the Texaco Gas Station that is can be played.

Historical park, indeed! The Victorian house, Depot, General store and gas station reminds me of scenes from many old cowboy movies. All houses were locked, so we could not get a look inside. The guard said that they are offering guided tours 3 days a week. I can't wait to register. Kudos to the maintenance team. This place will encourage you to visit over and over again. Not much activities for kids, but they sure will enjoy this place. It is a shame that I missed this place all these time being in Dallas. This place encourages me to look for other historical places in the area.
