you will be surprised to find how beautiful the ocean city from its history, majority of the founders with the females, the brave one of the history. There is a huge parking next to the building perhaps one of the biggest parking lot that can hold more than 2000 cars. You must go with friends and families. The ticket is five dollar and you don’t need a advanced booking.

Small and unique. Cutest little kids room, my toddlers and 8yr old enjoyed it although if my 8yr old was alone maybe not as much.. geared toward 6 and under. If you're a looker more so than a reader at museums, this will take you all of 20 minutes. Not stroller friendly, steep climb up stairs too.

Fun and educational visit for all ages at the museum,! The staff was welcoming and displays were fun for all ages. A staff educator presented an instructional class and included all the children. Adorable. Now I know why sharks confuse a surfboarder for food! Thank you OCL staff!

Great little museum to visit with the wife and kids. Lots unique items and pictures to see having to do with information about OCMD's life saving history as far as the coast guard is concerned from the beginning till the present. Their is a very friendly staff on hand and the museum it self houses everything from a small aquarium to boats used in the past to save lives to samples of sands from around the world. Definitely a must see with 2 floors of so much to look at from floor to ceiling.

Lots of history here! People here are very well educated on the history and purpose this building served. It's only $5 to come in and see the museum for as long as you like. It's 2 levels of unique history to see. Most if not all the money goes back into the preservation and keeping up with running this museum and all the other east coast life saving stations. There's even some hands on learning upstairs in the kids section. While upstairs be sure to say hi and have a laugh with Mrs Sal. Downstairs there are a few sea creatures to visit! If you have any questions just ask the staff as they are more then happy to answer any questions you might have. So come on out and support a local museum and a big piece of history!!
