Best dog park in DFW. It is always clean and maintained. It is a huge dog park divided into three large areas. One area for dogs under 30 lbs. One area for large dogs. A third area with a very large pond for dogs that like swimming. There are plenty of trees so ample shade. Several water fountains for both humans and dogs. Fence around entire park is in good repair with no gaps. There are also several concrete benches to sit on while your dog plays.

This is a pretty large dog park! There’s 3 different parts
1- big dog park (quite a large area
2- park with a pond area and has a space for dogs to jump off into the water
3- little dog park

Then there’s a trail around the whole area. Aside from being right next to the highway, this is a nice spot. They have a fence up by the highway so we were able to let our dog walk the trail with us and it felt almost like a walking trail within a dog park with the containment.

Make sure that your pets are well up to date with all of their shots and male sure you bring their own water because my pets got a viral infection after a half hour in the park. The park is a great space to let your pups get some exercise and stay healthy . I recommend this park .

Fantastic dog dog park, we are absolutely hooked and go every weekend now! Friendly dogs, friendly owners. Huge open space for the dogs to play/explore. So glad the lake is sectioned off so I don’t have to worry about my non-swimmers

This park has many attributes that I loved! The large and small dog park were different sized to accommodate its visitors. There’s a pool that you and your pup can enjoy or simply walk around if y’all don’t want to get wet.

There’s gigantic cement blocks for humans (and four legged friends) to sit on, plenty of parking (all the way in the back), and restrooms to use.

The culture was happy and relaxing. While the dogs were running and rolling, the owners were laughing and looking at other beautiful dogs. Besides this park being right of the DNT, it was in a safe location.

Super fun day at the “Dog-o lake”. So glad I found this dog park. My silly Lab Mix does not like our pool. She grew up in the North East and prefers lakes and rivers over the pool. Worth the 20 minute drive from Plano.
Mostly clean, dog owners need to grab the poop bags (free for the taking) and use them. Other than that, we had a great experience at the wooded lake. Whisper made some new friends and even tried playing for a hot minute. She is a senior (13 years old), so to see her try and play was great fun.

This place is huge! The have a pond if your pup likes to swim and a small dog park as well! Plenty of shade too! They got a portapotty. They also do have hoses so you can wash your pet off before heading home. I come back every other week.

My three dogs love running around the lake area, trotting through the mud, investigating the trees, and at least 1 likes dipping in the pond. There are usually other dogs to play with and a 90-minute visit is usually enough to tucker them out for the night. There are plenty of doggie waste stations (generously stocked with bags) and I rarely see a dog owner leave waste behind. It's one of the cleaner dog parks in the area.
