Absolute great place to take your kids, your own curiosity or your class to see wonderfully created skeletons of a wide variety of species. With great descriptions, you are sure to leave learning quite a bit more than you came in with. This place is amazing! The techs that make these exhibits are top notch! They have over 500 species on display. Highly recommend a stop in. They also have a great gift shop that offers plenty of souvenirs. They also have interactive learning activities such as Owl Pellet dissections that kids can pick up in the gift shop and table to sit down and dissect and learn about what the owl ate.

This place brought the kid out of me. The specimens were all so fascinating, and the stories each had were evident in their presentation. The museum is beautifully laid out, and the exhibits are designed to be enjoyed by all ages. There are several things to touch and feel and gain a deeper understanding of evolution including ours. They have a schedule of a bunch of fascinating and exciting looking events. If I lived here, I would check one out. The staff especially Ashley were all friendly and informative.

went on the 12/31/24, we were cutting it close but the kind person working the counter gave us free tickets to come back since we didn’t have much time before the closed! the whole museum is really neat, with lots of different skeletons even of humans! The gift shop is amazing!! You can buy butterflies and skulls, etc. I would’ve come back even if they didn’t give us free tickets, everyone there was so kind and I want to do the scavenger hunt next time!

We bought tickets to dissect owl pellets, and it was such a fun experience. The kids and I were amazed at our findings inside that little pellet. The museum is super cool! Catch the display to your right as you walk-in and see the beetles at work on cleaning the skulls! This museum is Filled with very cool displays of skeletal systems. While there I also noticed they have a forensics night, which I’m adding to my list of cool stuff to do!

Four of us senior ladies attended the Forensic Night…it was great! Shiloh was our host/guide for the night, and she was great! The staff were very very knowledgeable and offered help to each group in solving their case. The museum is beautiful with a jaw dropping array of specimens! I loved the gift shop too, and wished I’d come earlier to have more time to shop!
My group really enjoyed this event!

I took my two and a half year old here and he loved it, Of course he's interested in bones because of dinosaurs so this was a good fit. It was fun exploring and explaining bones to the animals that he did know about. We also got one of the owl pellets which I highly recommend, he got the help open one up and dig out the bones. Their souvenir store also has a lot of unique things for sale.

I was shocked by how amazing this museum was!! I am a high school biology teacher and I absolutely love evolution and paleobiology, and I never expected to see such an incredible evolution museum in Oklahoma of all places! I loved this place, the work and care in creating the exhibits, the ethics of how they obtained the skeletons, and the clear signage about how evolution is real and measurable. What a hidden gem of a museum, and I wish it all the best!! A must stop if you love science and find yourself in OKC!
