This was nice to take the family to and take pictures. Water fountains, fresh flowers and nice big dog park. There is no playground but an area with fake grass the kids can run around.

Great experience with Clutch City Bike club this was a beautiful meeting point for a ride to NRG for a tailgate and return ride

The downtown Houston farmers market at Market Square Park is my FAVORITE seasonal farmers market in the city! ‍It’s a great place to discover and support local growers and makers. There’s also live music and different activities each week.

I highly recommend checking it out, whether you’re rolling with friends, family, or solo. It’s from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. every Saturday through May 25, 2024, and it’ll start up again in the fall and run from September 7 through November 16, 2024.

Houston Downtown's most versatile park is Market square park. Various kinds of events and activities are organized here. I went there for movie night, farmer's market and Lunar new year celebration. Parking and restrooms could be a problem. There is only one restroom which gets busy during events. As for parking, we found the cheapest and closest parking lot near the park: park at 800 Franklin St, Houston, TX 77002. The park is a very small park offering sculpture, a garden, seasonal flowers, fountain etc. While visiting the park don't forget to check out the "Houston is Inspired" Mural on the Preston st and Travis st crossing.

Beautiful park to spend evenings and weekends to enjoy live music, bingo nights, and cycle meet ups. They have soo many more events going on at this location throughout the year. Fitness classes, yoga classes, parades, and some many cafes and restaurants nearby as well. This is close to the tram station so if anyone is looking take the public transportation or bike ride you can explore that as well. Also nearby is the famous Houston mural for that amazing instagram photo!

Beautiful small park. They have plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and watch people walking by.
