Excellent exhibit of the mining and ordinary life of the community since the early gold & silver rush. I loved the pictures of ordinary people and events. You can see the great care and effort done in setting up the museum. Staff was super friendly and informative. On its own, well worth the visit to Keno City. And if you can do the drive to signpost hill, even better!

So much better than I expected. When driving so far away from things, you didn't expect much from a museum. I was so wrong. This museum has so many mining artifacts and information, but it goes further and gives you history on the people who used to live in Keno City and how they lived so m in such a remote place. I wouldn't miss this place if you have the time. Don't let the dirt road scare you, it's pretty well maintained and could be driven in most cars.

Really well done 2-storey museum. Be sure to visit upstairs for a feel of real life in those days. Very friendly staff and a nice little gift drop. Can't miss it when you drive straight I to town.

Lovely old world mining town with an excellent mining museum and curator. Unfortunately due to overnight snow we couldn't get to the sign post attraction. My holdback with Keno is the length of time it takes to get there and the quality of the 2 roads both of which are seriously potholed. My GPS took me on the most direct route which was the lesser quality back road called Duncan Creek Road. Without 4x4 we would still be there in the mud, ruts and breakouts to this day! The turning is shown in my pictures and as you see there are no warnings on this approx 40km road. After 25km of dodging potholes. I made in hindsight a really bad decision to cross a particularly bad patch thinking this would not be repeated only to find myself not able to return and having to cross many more serious mud swamps. Be warned even the main road (Silver Trail) wasn't fit for camper trailers and we followed 2 on our our return journey as they turned around and made it back to Mayo. Research your route before you travel and don't rely on GPS or look for any fixed Yukon roads advice signs. Avoid the journey at all costs in poor weather!

Ein Muß für jeden der in Gegend unterwegs ist. Ganz Keno ein Museum mit freundlichen Einwohnern.
Nicht vergessen in Mayo nochmal zu tanken, weil es in Keno nichts gibt!!
