A nice art gallery/museum with easy access.

Some of the jewelry pieces were beautiful and made from alloys, glass, beads etc.

The main floor exhibit of sounds and their digital signature was interesting so was the trapped voices exhibit with hanging plastic bags. The front of the museum is gorgeous with colorful pictures.

A nice art gallery/museum with very interesting art. It’s right in the center and easy to walk to.

They had three different exhibits. Four if you count the art garden.

Rick Rivet: Journeys, Mounds and the Metaphysical is an interesting art collection mixing scenes from life in the Arctic, scenes from the times when the natives were conquered and a flare of mystery surrounding the journeys by sea.

Inherent Memory was a multi-media/mixed media exhibition with bright colors, basketry and a a poem I feel in love with (see photo).

Last but not least, on the second floor was The Stories We Carry dedicated to storytelling via jewelry. Some of the pieces were just gorgeous! Mixed metals, precious stones, glass beads and furs. A joy for the eyes and engagement for the mind!

The gallery store had interesting pieces as well from books to prints! There was also a mini-exhibition of a designer who mixes the concepts of medicine and fashion in a curious way. The clothing was incredible!

We visited on First Friday when there was free admissions 5-7pm. We were only able to view the side exhibits and the upstairs as they closed the main exhibit so we had limited access to the museum. There were a few works by Jean LeMarr that were phenomenal to reflect upon and jewelry there as well. Lots of other galleries in the area to walk around and look at too. Worth the visit for free admissions on First Friday. Not sure if I would pay full admissions but I am not sure what the main exhibit is like.

I really enjoyed the art in this museum. Really excellent works are on display here. I put this as a must see place when visiting Santa Fe. The staff and guards are friendly and the museum is not overwhelming but rather just enough to appeal to your inner artist!

When in Santa Fe don’t miss this amazing museum, as a great bonus, it is only a short stroll from the famous plaza. The exhibits we saw while visiting museum were truly one of a kind, and included everything from sculpture installations , digital media, murals, and paintings. Ask for the veteran rate if it applies to you.

Not a large museum, but it's an excellent collection. A lot of beautiful work from modern voices, often from within the past five years.
