This was a great place to stop and sit for a few minutes. The fountain is nice although there was a lot of trash at the base. We originally went to this park for the splash pad area but it wasn’t on. A little more shade in some areas would be nice too, but I bet it’s awesome in the winter and spring.

The 4 hour free parking garage that connects to the park is awesome, and there is a hiking trail across the street for the cooler months. It’s also within walking distance to the shopping and restaurant area.

Not an ideal spot for tourists - lacks fountains and activities. However, the park has a pleasant atmosphere, showcasing the characteristics of Palm Springs. Abundant palm trees and walls reflecting local soil features. Numerous seating options for relaxation.

PS did such a great job with this park! Even though there are usually quite a few homeless people hanging around, there’s so much to enjoy here: drinking fountain (even for your pup!), water refill station, clean restrooms, succulent trail, grass mounds, splash pad, cafe-style tables, historical plaque.. it’s very well designed and a pleasure to hang out in. And of course you can enjoy the nearby art displays, museum and hiking trail!

A elegant Park in the center of Hot Palm springs. All the stately Shaggy palm trees offset the fountains and urban art of the vicinity. Clean bathrooms are available.
