Great little place to pop into for a 20 min walk through if you’re grabbing lunch in the area. Nice atmosphere, and decent exhibits. You’ll get a quick history when you come in, after a friendly welcome.

Terrific museum. They had a wonderful exhibit on Central American artists as well as a wry reinterpretation of Palm Beach society. Delray is such a fantastic place.

It's a beautiful building. It is easy to find. There is no other structure that looks like this around. It has two floors and an elevator. The staff was knowledgeable and wonderful. I enjoyed my time here.
I came for Artwalk. It is something the city does monthly. The event is free. You can make donations if you wish and it is nicely organized. As I walked in they gave me a fryer and explained a little about the Artwalk to me. They had a talented musician playing and light snacks.
The parking is street parking. There is parking all around and a garage. The area gets crowded towards the night.

Please correct the days and hours that the Cornell Art Museum (Delray Beach) is open on the Internet. Your site indicates you are open on Tuesdays. Google repeats this information online. We drove for almost 2 hours to get there on a Tuesday only to learn from the front door sign that your Museum is CLOSED ON TUESDAYS and only open days Wed thru Sunday.

Hidden gem in Delray! Beautiful, interesting, well displayed modern, unusual artwork and installations. Curator, Melanie Johannson, is extremely welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. This was my first visit to Conell. I know it won't be my last visit to this updated, state of the art local museum.

STOP BY. Amazing modern art and very cheap (especially for students!).

This is an old schoolhouse that was recently renovated following a generous donation in 2017.

The lady who welcomed us was so passionate about the museum she took 5 minutes to privately tell us about the history of the schoolhouse and how it became what it is today.

At time of visit, there were 6 rooms each with art from an artist who was mandated to fill the room.

The theme was immersion. Upon entering a room, some of which were dark and closed by black curtains, you came into the artist's world, their mind, their thoughts.

Loved the experience. Wasn't expecting that at all in Delray Beach.

It was a nice museum, and it changes every 3 mos. Free , and a free parking garage until 4pm. So made for a great afternoon. ( Could be free just for the summer, don't know)
