What's up Googler's, I just wanted to leave my review because I used to come here when I was a kid and I was in the neighborhood crabbing across the street. So I thought I'd take a walk and stop by. The use of a basketball court here in a playground. The playground is a little bit more smaller but it's really not more of a dog park. Just giving everybody a heads up please if you are enjoying the reviews you know what to do.

An elevated walkway aligned takes you through the wetland areas of the Middle River surrounded by mangrove preserves. The back of the park is the Colohatchee Dog Park, asphalt walking trail, outdoor fitness zone and a pavilion with picnic tables. Park is closed Tuesdays.

Loved this Park. Looks like nothing from side of road really but still intriguing. When I entered you walk down this wooden bridge for a decent walk with this lake and trees as far as u can see. I will admit I did get a little spooked at first being a girl on my own however I made it down the bridge and got to a awesome dog park. It has a grill and covered seating with a playground and a dog ? park behind it. People were so pleasant and dogs just adorable! Will definitely being my dog!

A small but very nice and clean park that has a fenced in area for dogs to run off leash which requires a pass.
Picnic area, outdoor weight machines and leashed dog walking does not require pass. The men’s restroom is open but the women’s is padlocked.

A nice quiet walk. Beyond a small but well maintained parking lot, there is a short but enjoyable walk on a boardwalk above the mangroves. At the end, you come to a dog park. You must sign up and get a pass from Wilton Manors to enter the park which has nice separate fenced areas for large and small dogs to be off leash. There are restrooms here as well as water and also some public work out equipment.

Update 12/16/22 Pretty much the same. They are closing one of the large dog areas for a few weeks soon. The owners I have met here are very friendly. My dog loves coming here.

Update 2/16/23 All remains the same. I continue to meet owners who are very friendly and help make sure all the dogs play nice together. My dog still gets excited to come. Some decent warbler watching in the trees... if you are a birder, bring your binocs!

Update April 2, 2023 All the same except they have successfully resodded half of the large dog area which is an improvement. Could use some work in small dog area as recent reseeding work didn't really seem to help. Ground cover is poor is some areas. Not terrible but likely to get worse over time.

Update May 19, 2023 mutch if the grass has actually done well, especially in the large dog area. Otherwise, pretty much the same. The small dog area has is doing OK as well.
