Cantigny Park is an absolute treasure, offering a perfect mix of history, nature, and family-friendly activities. Whether you’re a history buff, a nature lover, or looking for a fun day out with the family, Cantigny has it all.

The D-Day Exhibit is incredibly well done and informative, providing a powerful and moving tribute to those who served. It’s a must-see for anyone with an interest in military history. For the kids (and the kid in all of us), the tanks you can climb on are an absolute highlight! It’s not every day you get to scale a piece of history, and the interactive experience really adds to the visit.

Beyond the historical elements, Cantigny has beautifully maintained trails that make for a peaceful and scenic walk through nature. The McCormick Mansion is another gem on the grounds, with its rich history and elegant architecture providing a glimpse into a bygone era.

One of my favorite parts of Cantigny is how they embrace the seasons. The Winter Light Event is pure magic. Not only are the gardens beautifully lit up with thousands of twinkling lights, but they also offer hot cocoa and campfires, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family. It’s the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit!

Serenity meets Beauty in the remarkable Park located in the far west Suburb of Wheaton, Illinois. The grounds are immaculately kept with an array of floral gardens throughout the property. Plenty of areas to sit and read a book or watch happy enthusiast roam this beautiful property. The estate also verses a beautiful garden and monument that has the final resting place of the McCormicks. Two camping grounds for those that may want to celebrate Feast of the Tabernacles. Picnic benches galore, playground fun for the kids, restrooms strategically located around the property. A military armory is displayed in October 2024. Lots of space for Weddings, Family Gatherings and Corporate Events.

I went there for the annual car show. Great show! Over 400 cars of all varieties. Well run and organized. Kinda pricey to enter, but it's once a year and there's a lot of cars to see and people to talk to. There was a dj and a band, along with food to purchase. Plus you can enjoy the park and exhibits.

Beautiful place with history, tanks the youth are encouraged to climb on, and a 1st Infantry museum on par with some of the best in the world.

I love this park. Haven't been here in a while, so I came around the time their D-Day exhibit was up. The trails here are really nice and all the gardens are especially enjoyable. The tank park has a wide variety of tanks, some as old as World War 1. The First Division museum has always been one of my favorite museums, as the exhibits are well built and very historically accurate.

My first time visiting this park and it was so peaceful. Our Camaro club held a car show here and there's also a war museum and tanks that you can climb on as well.

Beautiful property that includes the mc cormick mansion, flower gardens, and a military museum featuring the first division during wars from the 20th century. They have military tanks on the grounds as well that kids love to climb. We went to the spring event which included various activities. I prefer their music series and fall activities but during the spring the flowers are beautiful. You can picnic , walk, and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Washrooms are available. Many weddings and prom pictures are taken in the property because of how beautiful it is. I highly recommend this as a visit if you are in the area. It $5 to park and entrance to other areas are generally free unless there is a special event.
