The California Surf Museum is a must-see! It absolutely exceeded all expectations, and provided a fun and in-depth look at the history and contemporary culture of surfing. The staff was incredibly kind and enthusiastic– Tom in particular went above and beyond to engage us and provide more insight into everything on display. Would definitely recommend!

It's such a great museum. Great educational opportunity for groms learning about the science of oceanography, as well as history of surfing, surfers, and shapers. Some of the original surfboards in history made their way here, and it is so cool to see them close up and in person.

Cool place to visit to see surf evolution. They have boards from the 1900's and the oldest board from Cali. They also have the board with a shark bite taken out of it.

This is a nice little museum dedicated to the art and science of surfing. We saw many incredible surfboards from the beginning of surfing until today. They have a whole section on the science of the waves and how to catch a wave to ride it. The gift shop is quaint and well priced.
