This place is an outside museum so be cautious of summer heat. They don't have many exhibits which is understandable. They help rehab the animals and put them back if possible into their natural habitat. They are under construction to expand etc. they also have a nice area to rent for weddings and events. They do lights for Christmas.

CALM is a great zoo full of local wildlife on nicely kept grounds. Beautiful flora and fauna. Always clean. Always a bit of something different.

Holiday Lights: A fantastic holiday, Animal themed walk through the park. Train, lights, falling fake snow, music =fun!

Small zoo, not a lot of big animals but if you’re a local it’s a great place to get out with the kids for the day. There’s a train that runs on the weekends, a small gift shop that does sell a few snack items (no cafe—yet). With a membership to CALM you can also get into Lori Brock. The CALM membership is so worth it in my opinion if you have little kids. It doesn’t ever seem to be super packed except maybe during the holiday lights (I’ve heard that gets pretty packed) and maybe if there’s a few field trips going on at once.

This place is always great. They're is so much to see, the animals (although they don't have a ton of room) are cared for decently. It's always clean and there is a lot of information to learn about the animals that are unable to be released back into the wild.

It isn't too big, you could visit and walk through in an hour or 2 or really spend the majority of the day here.

Unless there's a special event (like the holiday lights) I recommend packing a lunch and really taking time to learn about each of the animals, enjoy the train ride, and play at the playground.

Great place to take young kids for their first zoo trip. Zoo has picnic area and playground along with a train ride that's optional to add to your trip. Great service and information given from employees. Environment was friendly and safe for family. Will certainly take pics on my next visit!!

My wife, son, and I have a family membership here and like to visit at least once a week. They are regularly updating/renovating exhibits, have regularly scheduled events, and the staff are super friendly. Mornings in our opinion are the best. Animals seem the most active and the park is relatively empty.

Nice picnic area, playground, and killer gift shop. This is definitely our preferred outing when we venture.

Place is pretty awesome and bigger than I anticipated! Super cool animals, nice little playground for the kiddos with a shaded seated area for the parents to take a break.
Definitely want to go again.

Really nice and affordable little day thing, I like the location. We had lunch at Hart Park after. Animals seem happy and staff was super friendly! Both the cats weren't on display which was sad though
