Four stars for metal slides that would become unusable in hot weather and sand in the splash pad area that makes cleanup a bit of a hassle compared to concrete or rubber. Also, the splash pad doesn’t have much water and looked kinda gross (sitting water).
Otherwise, this park is awesome for kids of all ages! Lots to do and fun slides, climbing, instruments and more. You can definitely spend hours here if your kids have the attention span. Also right near the zoo and lots of other great places to visit.
Also, the bathrooms there are pristine and the nicest I’ve seen at a park.

It is definitely an improvement from the old play ground but seems geared towards smaller kids. Or maybe my kids are too tall. My 7 yo busted his head inside the rocket ship. The water feature is a bit lack luster too. Most of the fountains have to be hand worked. Kinda exhausting in the heat of summer. There's a nice elevated seating area with sun covering and plenty of seating all around the play areas.

MUY BELLO!!!! ? a mis hijos les encantó y igual a mi el único detalle es cuando están en el parque de agua ? no hay mucha sombra para los padres de familia y que la mayoría de fuentes los padres tienen que trabajan en mover para que el agua fluya es un poco cansado porq en estos tiempos de verano y con esta calor ?☀️ se siente pesado yo al día siguiente amanecí con dolor de brazo ? y luego recordé porque ?es un poco agotador pero en lo demás el parque y sus juegos todo perfecto.

Just reopened after a 52 million dollar renovation. Park is wonderful! Staff is friendly and professional. Sean, working the gate, was quick to stop a guest from smoking a cigar at the childrens splash area. He was kind and pleasant to talk with. The splash pad is the coolest thing I've ever seen, and the kids even said it beast typhoon texas. I expect this to be packed this summer as word gets out. This is an amazing area for Memorial Hermman Park to provide to the residents of Houston. I'm excited to come back again next week!

It’s 2024, why are the slides metal.? There were even a crew of guys checking the temps of the playground equipment, it was too hot for the kids to play & this was at 9AM. Our experience definitely wasn’t great.

I like how big the whole area is for kids to run around. Several play areas and swings. The playground has a lot of rusty areas, could use an update. The parking lot is pretty far so factor in a 10 min walk to and from your car.
