Entrance fee up to you (from 1$) well curated small museum with interesting emerging artists!
I met Vicky in the gallery that introduced me to the details of a few of the artworks, such a nice conversation we had!

Was a pleasure to pass by, and will do again in the future to see whats upcoming in the art world.

An excellent location right by downtown Boulder. On a weekday, pay parking was immediately available. Look for sign that says how you can go online and pay. There is only a $2 entrance fee for the museum. The current exhibit was interesting but not always well explained as to the meanings intended with the pieces. Recommend looking at what is showing in the gallery before you go.

This was my second visit to the museum. Each time I have been impressed with the art. They show 3-4 artists at a time in their small space. Here are some pictures from the current shows. They have a cute gift shop, too. Go visit and support this great museum!

Fun little place with pay-your-own-price admission. Great place to wander around after lunch at the Dushanbe Teahouse next door. The current Smoke and Mirrors exhibit was interesting.

This is a somewhat small museum with an interesting collection of works. It was very affordable and there is a nice little tea shop right next door. I very much enjoyed the fabric art and textiles on the 2nd floor. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to view the world from a different perspective.

This is a small but impactful museum - only three galleries but interesting artists. The three in the fall/winter selection are a collection of altered photographs (often polaroids), by splicing and intercutting several shots in a collage. (By Kevin Hoth & George Perez.) Then a black artist who combines photographs and printing techniques for rich examples of everyday life (by Kristopher Wright.) And upstairs, a collection of projected photos on the shifting nature of "home" (by Erin Hyunhee Kang.)

Also, it's free on Saturday and right next door to the Dushanbe Tea House, so if you're there already, you might as well stop in. The small store is worth a look, too, I liked some of the earrings on sale.

Really nice and super contemporary exhibits (downstairs painting exhibit is almost 100% “2024” marked and it’s only july!! gee whiz!!) but I do wish there had been an option to pay at the end. We felt like we overpaid(it’s a very small museum), and spoke to 2 women who felt like they underpaid — their feelings more easily remedied than ours!

Also, I’m not sure what child-based event was going on upstairs, but the ceiling makes a TON of noise… and some shaking. If you have any sort of feelings about being crushed or buried alive (I saw LOTR too young), I suggest calling in advance to ask about the events for the day.
