We loved taking a little break from our busy schedules at this stress-relieving spot and enjoy a walk that winds through native and imported trees and other plants. It was so calm and natural, a hidden pocket of serenity inside an otherwise hectic world. And it's just off the busy roadway. I must have driven past this little arboretum a thousand times and never knew it existed. It's actually just behind a row of businesses that face Hillsboro Boulevard. A canal separates the arboretum from a residential area behind it. It's not visible from the busy boulevard, but it's easy to find using navigation. Best of all, it's completely free. It took us 30 minutes to stroll through it all. We would have taken more time, but it was approaching closing time. The main building, in fact, did close before 6pm, which was the closing time indicated on the door. I can't blame people for taking off early. Fortunately, clean portable restrooms were available outside.

We enjoyed our morning here. Kids loved playing at the playground. We all enjoyed the walk through the trail to view all the different trees and plants. There is also a tennis and basketball court to use. The only bathroom I could find was a porta potty but it was decent. A crew was there planting new plants and let the kids help plant too! Very nice!

Amazing park with amazing memories. This park has been here for decades, and just keeps getting better. Lots to do here with minimal disturbance from noise or pollution. Beautiful plants, insects, and reptiles are included for free. Lovely place to bike, run, or even walk your dog. Be sure to check out the picnic tables and a very special Gazebo near the front. Overall an amazing park whether you're going to just sight see or catch some Pokémon. This is an awesome place to visit!
