Was our place for a first date back in 2009. Quite different on our last bio if visit. Enjoyable, but not too many exhibits. I think they are getting ready for the Spider Exhibit. At Staff is always friendly. Wonderful, elderly gentlemen have a mini tour of the Safari animals. He was quite entertaining too! Great for kids to learn about so many things! Especially Historical History!

We went during the spider exhibition and found all the information, both interesting and educational. Our granddaughter enjoyed the hands-on experience. Parking was easy and free. We didn't visit the gift shop so I can't comment on that. We will return.

Great museum! Awesome exhibits of cowboys, dinosaurs, sharks, and more! Plan on a couple of hours if you don't read everything and just look. If you read everything, double it to at least four hours.
I heard some guests complaining about the fact that there are no live sharks. I think it is better. It is better for the sharks that are not captive and going crazy swimming in tanks. Better for the museum as they can spend their energy and money on educational displays and new exhibitions, and not on all of the maintenance which comes with live sharks in huge aquariums.
Overall, it was a great experience and we will visit again!

This was an enjoyable experience for our whole family. Three generations went together and shared in the fun educational adventure. We purchased a membership, which I highly recommend for three reasons: 1) affordability, 2) there's so much to do, you'll want to take more time, and 3) you'll want to create more memories with multiple visits!
The facility offers wheelchair accessibility, a quaint coffee shop cafe with decent food options (large all beef hot dogs and quesadillas included), and indoor as well as outdoor exhibits. There are interactive exhibits to keep kids engaged. It was well presented and laid out. We were impressed.

I loved the location and setting of this museum. This was my first time visiting. The architecture was beautiful and the inside was elevated and elegant. I visit museums these days with my children and I don't really have the ability or time to read lots of long descriptions on plaques next to displays so I appreciate when an exhibit can be informative and enjoyable without a ton of reading. I also do not want to see a lot of unnecessary and silly signs about self explanatory things. I do not remember seeing many of these signs. Although I didn't eat in the cafe that day, I was impressed that it was open the whole time the museum was open and will definitely try it next time. I definitely want to go back and will consider getting a membership if they offer lots of member perks.
