Très belle surprise que ce musée. Nous avons été attirés par la sculpture extérieure, reconnaissable entre 1000 et que nous ne pensions pas trouver à Charlotte...A l'intérieur, assez peu d'œuvres car dernier étage fermé(d'où l'entrée libre), mais que des stars, et des associations très cohérentes: Niki de St Phalle et Jean Tinguely bien sûr, Andy Wharhol, Degas, Le Corbusier, Miro, entre autres pluie d'étoiles...Les surveillantes de salle sont passionnées d'art, et nous avons pu le soir assister à un concert de jazz d'excellent niveau. Superbe surprise que ce musée.

Just wanted to share a quick note about our incredible day at the art museum today! Thanks to Maggie, our tour guide, we had a truly engaging and fun experience. Maggie was incredibly knowledgeable about all the artwork, and she shared fascinating stories about the artists and their creations. The kids were completely captivated, and it was wonderful to see them learn and be inspired. If you're looking for a fantastic family outing, I highly recommend the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. You won't be disappointed!

Our visit was 17 February 2024 after my Hot Chocolate 5K Run. Although sunny outside it was breezy and cold. We went to this museum, which was good. Some unique works, with 4 floors, stairs & elevator. Staff were helpful, polite, and pleasant. Spent about 45 minutes and loved the big mirror statue outside. Something different.

There are 4 floors but not a lot of pictures, there’s terrace in the 3 rd floor it’s fine but not good like that.

Visited with our granddaughter. Some Picasso artwork is displayed. Three floors of artwork and a small gift store. Restrooms are on the first floor only. Parking garages in area as well other museums and places to eat. This particular day it was open free to the public.
