Wow. The museum is huge now! Much bigger than the previous location. Saw the Disney exhibits - costumes and the jewelry. So much cool stuff. It was cool to imaging the actors and their sizes in them, and many were soooo detailed with embroidery and all the fabrics. Learned a ton. Great exhibits if you love Disney! All the cool movies were included.

Love the new location. Lots of space and the displays have been lovely.

Do plan carefully if you visit during an event at the stadium. There is a LOT of traffic and no way to sneak around it to get in and out of the museum parking lot.

I can’t thank the Arlington Museum of Art enough for making my engagement truly a dream come true! My fiancé, Brady, proposed during the exclusive D23 event opening of Heroes & Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume and All That Glitters: The Crown Jewels of the Walt Disney Archives exhibits, and the museum staff went above and beyond to make this moment unforgettable.

The setting was stunning! We were surrounded by Cinderella gowns and glittering crowns, with rose petals and candlelight arranged to perfection. The museum team not only helped Brady film the proposal but made everything run smoothly, creating an atmosphere that felt like a fairytale brought to life. They even allowed him to put my artwork on display as part of the proposal! He made my unspoken dream a reality—what a surprise it was to have a piece of my works become a part of a museum exhibit!

Then to top it off, couple weeks later the staff surprised us by mailing a thoughtful card congratulating us on our engagement, which was such a sweet and unexpected gesture!

I will cherish this experience forever—it was more magical than I could have ever imagined. If you’re looking for an immersive experience that offers not just stunning art exhibits but also an incredibly thoughtful and caring team, I highly recommend visiting the Arlington Museum of Art. Thank you for your part in creating this once-in-a-lifetime memory that we’ll treasure for years to come!

The Disney crown jewel and costume exhibit while cool felt like it was put together in a weekend. Plywood exhibit cases, plywood and painted stands, and lighting that was inconsistent on pieces or poorly lit. It all felt rather poor quality for a "museum of art" charging $37 admission per person with very few discounts and no student discounts. Just a cash grab without much thought to the quality of exhibition or the space of the exhibition.

Not to mention I doubt raw wood conforms to any archival standards for fabric and textiles.

Also, $10 to park (even on a super slow Sunday) but teslas get to have access to superchargers AND don't have to pay to park? Seems really unfair to me.

For two people it cost us a little over $84 to see an exhibition that didn't even begin to feel professionally put together, lit, or curated. And there wasn't anything else in the museum to see. A pitiful (8 painting) permanent collection, and student works gallery which didn't showcase much. Waste of money.

The Arlington Museum of Art really needs to up its game if they expect folks to drop this much money for two people. I can't imagine how a family of 4 or more can afford this as an outing.

Overall my experience was disappointing, this isn't what I would consider a professional quality exhibition or a professional art museum at all.

If I could give the 1 point 5 degree experience a negative review I would. Literally looked like wallpaper spinning on old PC. Half the screens were just blurs. Literally 2 whole walls. Asked 3 attendants if it was right. They said yes. Emailed the museum twice and no response. Still no response.

I recently had the privilege of visiting the Pompeii exhibit at the Arlington Museum of Art, and I was thoroughly impressed! The exhibit was meticulously curated, with an incredible collection of artifacts that transported me back in time. The level of preservation and detail in the artifacts was astonishing, and the interactive displays and immersive experiences brought the ancient city to life. The exhibit's ability to convey the daily life, culture, and tragedy of Pompeii was truly captivating. The museum did an outstanding job of creating an engaging and educational experience. I left with a newfound appreciation for history and a sense of wonder. Highly recommend this exhibit to anyone interested in history, art, or culture!

Went to see the Disney Costume exhibit, and as a costumer it was literally costumer crack. It was an amazing exhibit, and while I was a bit confused by the building then we realized they recently moved there. The space was lovely and overall I enjoyed my 2-1/2 hour drug deal.

I went to see the Pompeii exhibit. The show was curated well. The immersive portion is about 5 minutes long. The story and exhibits that accompany the immersive portion were well done. I enjoyed my time worth a visit.
