Great park for kids. Although the sign says it’s for ages 5yr-12yr I think some toddlers would enjoy it as well.

Fantastic park with a good view of the lake! Age appropriate for my 4 year old. Super fun musical equipment. Great trails as well! Highly recommend!

Why we are just now visiting the park by Lake Hefner, I have no idea. Sitting on the rocks by the lovely waves gave us a moment of peace and beauty that we appreciated so much! Thank you to those who keep this place clean - visitors/tourists like us really thank you. A nice park for families is nearby, and our restaurant was a short drive over. Perfect.

Great park for toddlers. The recommended age on the park sign says ages 2-5. There is a walking trail right next to the playground for adults looking to get their daily steps count in. Wide open area all around the park with no trees around, so kite flying or recreational activities such as rc racing or anything requiring minimal obstructions is great. The air coming off the lake always makes a great cooling breeze, especially in the summertime.
The only downside, in my opinion, is the restroom situation. There is no restroom infrastructure aside from 3 portal potty pods that always seem to be filthy no matter what time of day, so be sure to have the little ones use the restroom before heading to this park.

Located south of Mama Rojas and Hefner Grill. Playground is for younger children and is handicap accessible. Large fields for flying kites, picnics or kicking a ball. Has a portapotty and two covered pavilions. Ample parking.

Nice park overall. Needs a little work on the rubber, missing chunks. The reason for the 4 star is that there are a lot of spiderwebs everywhere. The pictures are bad due to the light and otger factors.

The park is nice but small. It is good for adults and kids as well. There is a shelter where you can do picnic. You have to make reservation if you want to use the picnic shelter. There are lots of fun activities for kids such slide, swings and others. You can run, walk and fly kites here. There are plenty of open spaces where you can do any type of games you want.
