This is a smaller park... but don't let that fool you. The rides are more than adequate, the food is plentiful, the staff is nice, welcoming, and helpful. The rides are well maintained. The lines usually are not too long like other major theme parks. I recommend going here if you have kids, roller coater enthusiasts, theme park lovers. It's worth the visit.

We loved this park! We have a six flags season pass so while we were in town we wanted to check it out. The rides were fun but we really enjoyed the shows. Our normal six flags barely has any shows anymore so that was fun for us. The magic show was our favorite but we also enjoyed the gun shows too! There is also a small water park attached that we did not go in because we did not plan for it but it looks fun. It was a fun day for the whole family there and we will definitely go back. The park was smaller but we still really enjoyed it and it made it easier to get around inside the park. We recommend getting the season passes with the season cups to save money.

My kids love it! We bought season passes on sale and have used them almost every weekend since we bought them. It's nice e that you can use the passes for Hurricane Harbor in the open season too. Enjoying Fright Fest. We Definitely recommend coming and getting season. passes.

This place needs a lot of work. Can find cheap tickets online, which helps make it a bit better.

It's worth going for the wild west stunt show, which was very good and funny. Grandmaster magician David Thomas and his world of magic show was the best part of the day there!

The worst part was 6-7 rides closed, a lot of very expensive carnival type games, which are obvious money grabs.... several rides broke down or malfuctioned mid operation......length of rides was super short with very long lines...... zero food safety practices followed. Food is decent in price but questionable...

Almost the entire park is run and managed by kids and young teens. From ride operation and safety, maintenance, food prep, even park admin. Most of which were rude, yelled at customers kids, played on cell phones, and lost ride keys, resulting in longer wait times, no gloves, hairnets, etc. for food prep. Dropped food orders and eating while serving food and taking payments....

While it can be a cheap event for the family if purchasing tickets online, enjoy this old, very rusted park at your own risk and expensive parking.

My family visited Six Flags owned Frontier City on Labor Day. This was my first visit despite having season passes. We arrived around 11:30am and the parking navigation was well planned and easy. The staff was friendly and informative at the gate and getting through security was simple. You go through a gift shop to get in and out of the park. It was great to see the fright fest merch was coming out, as we are excited to visit the Halloween festivities coming up. This was the only "mostly" stocked shop in the park. The rest were bare or closed. The confections shop had an case entirely empty but for two ancient caramel apples. We stopped at a food stall for a foot long corn dog and they didn't have any and said they would be delivered within the hour. We rode some of the rides and went to a different restaurant. They were out of fries and not taking any orders. Closed other than the drink refilling station. We then made our way to the big food hall area and ate there. As with most amusement parks, the food is over priced and mid quality at best.
The rides are ok and the lines took a while due to loading and unloading passengers. I think it's was a lack of communication between staff and guests because you know how I said how friendly everyone was at the gate? That ended at the gate. Instructions were given with the joyless monotone of a minimum wage ish employee in stupid heat on a holiday (because that's what was happening) if at all.
The park's condition is run down. One bathroom I visited was windowless, mirror-less, soapless, and paper towel-less. There's a dingy, roadside feel to the whole place.
As for accessibility, my son is a part time wheelchair user and thankfully the size of the park is small enough that he can navigate it with breaks. But the pavement is a nightmare for a wheelchair user, the accessible entrances were hidden away or even blocked completely. I saw a blacktop mound, that couldn't have been the required width, that looked like it was poorly hand made and had a handicapped symbol slapped on it that it would be difficult at best to use, and at worst, dangerous.
Six Flags is worth over 4 billion dollars so the state of this park and the employee's pay rates (starting at 9$ an hour!?) should embarrass them. Overall people do not mind spending money when they go to theme park. But if you're going to spend the money I want a clean bathroom with a mirror. I want supplies in that bathroom. I want the food stalls to have food. I want the shops to have merchandise I can purchase. I want the park to be accessible. I want to interact with happy, well paid employees who want to be there. Six Flags should literally be ashamed of themselves for charging what they do for the quality and subpar experience that you get at Frontier City.

Me and my sister went there on Sunday 7/28/24 and had so much fun. We rode the Renegade Rapids, I rode the orange holster rollercoaster where your feet dangle and it was so much fun, we saw a saloon show with saloon girls which was so awesome, I rode the rocking ship, the twister and me and my sister rode a gee others and had so much fun. It wasn't too busy or hot. Highly recommend and will be back asap. ?

Fright feast was fun but the long lines made the time to see the mazes and the haunted houses too short. They open at 8pm but close at 10pm only got to see 3 out five plus two rides
